Meanwhile, OpsNow will collaborate to focus on streamlining cloud operations and co-commercializing ESG in the cloud. Through this, the two companies plan to jointly promote carbon neutral solution projects based on their own business models, areas of expertise, personnel and systems.

Carbon neutrality means reducing the amount of carbon dioxide emitted by a company or organization through activities to zero (0). This can be achieved by purchasing carbon credits that can offset carbon dioxide emissions or through various activities to reduce carbon emissions. Earlier this year, OpsNow unveiled “OpsNow ESG (OpsNow ESG),” a service that measures carbon emissions and power usage in a cloud environment and manages them. OpsNow ESG supports offsetting these emissions by purchasing carbon credits from Winkle's marketplace based on carbon emissions measurements. It is characterized by the fact that efficient management of cloud resources can achieve the benefits of reducing carbon emissions and reducing cloud operating costs.
